Its performance is comparable to conventional welded bed joint reinforcement for structural use in EN 845-3. HIGH YIELD STRENGTH Murfor® Compact E controls cracks and strengthens your masonry. The sturdy mesh of steel cords has exceptionally high yield strength, with Murfor® Compact E offering more than 1525 MPa. Murfor® Compact E is the only roll-on masonry reinforcement solution that comes with an ETA approval for structural applications. The high strength, and easy application makes Murfor® Compact E suitable for even the most adventurous designs. APPLICATIONS Murfor® Compact E is available in two different sizes (35 and 70 mm) to accommodate any wall with and in three different alloys to meet specific exposure classes or to suit different block or brick constructions. Murfor® Compact E-70 is a mesh consisting of 14 steel cords, whereas Murfor® Compact E-35 consists of 7 steel cords. The rolls are made of Austenitic Stainless steel (Molybdene - chrome - nickel alloy). This type of reinforcement has been specifically designed for exterior masonry (exposure class MX2, MX3 and MX4, compliant with Eurocode 6 / EN 845-3). Murfor® Compact E-70 is suitable for all mortar joints with thickness between 3 mm and 12 mm.
