The internationally acclaimed and eclectic designer Patricia Urquiola creates a new world with LAUFEN's SaphirKeramik. Innovative and elegant, the washbasins and bowls of the collection SONAR combine metropolitan design with subtle, unconventional sophistication. The rigorous geometry accentuates the ascetic form and optimises water flow: the inclined surface of the washbasin’s bottom leads the water gently toward a transverse incision that conceals the waste with an unobtrusively elegant gesture. What's more, the three-dimensionality of the waves on the outer side of the washbasins offers an exciting new way of introducing textures in bathroom design.
