NUO

NUO is as soft as leather and as supple as fabric - yet completely animal-free and made from real wood. Thin wood veneer is glued to a textile backing and the wood surface is then lasered, giving the material its unique flexibility. Six types of wood are currently available. The standard sizes are 620 mm x 620 mm, 1250 mm x 1240 mm and 2500 mm x 1240 mm (larger sizes on request). The specific properties of NUO depend largely on the type of wood used, the type of application, the carrier material and the surface finish. The unprecedented soft shape opens up completely new design possibilities. NUO is used in the interior, automotive, upholstery and fashion industries.
