PermaTint Limited is the only North American manufacturer of mineral based stains.  Our products permanently change the colour of brick, stone, concrete, cement render/stucco, precast and other absorbent, mineral based surfaces.

Mineral stains do not stick to the surface like normal paint (acrylic/latex) – they soak in and bond to the inside of the surface by chemical reaction (crystallization).

Our products leave the surface completely breathable (perm rating of 78) and will never trap moisture in the wall.  It is chemically impossible for mineral stains to peel and they do not require maintenance.  Lifespans of over 100 years have been achieved in Europe where the products were invented in the late 1800s. 

Mineral stains are completely non-toxic, inorganic (never decay) and are 0 VOC.  They are environmentally friendly and sustainable.
